Nebraska Humane Society Increases Reward for Dog Theft Information

$10,000 reward offered for information leading to arrest of dog thieves

Dogs went missing from the Humane Society in March of 2023

The Nebraska Humane Society (NHS) has increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible for stealing three dogs from the shelter in March of 2023. The reward is now $10,000, up from the original $5,000.

The dogs, two pit bulls and a husky mix, were taken from their kennels on March 19th, 2023. NHS staff discovered the dogs missing the following morning and immediately notified the authorities.

The NHS is asking for the public's help in locating the dogs and the individuals responsible for their theft. Anyone with information is urged to contact the NHS at (402) 444-7800 or the Omaha Police Department at (402) 444-5600.

The NHS is a non-profit organization that provides shelter and care for animals in need. The shelter relies on donations from the public to operate and provide care for the animals in its care.
